NextStepEU Closing Conference

The official closing of the NextStepEU – Jean Monnet Module was marked during the NextStepEU Scientific International Conference, an event that brought together academics, students, researchers, and practitioners from Romania and abroad. The closing session provided the framework for presenting the final overview of the Module after three years of implementation (2022–2025).

During this session, the project team introduced a comprehensive assessment of the activities carried out throughout the Module, highlighting the academic, research, and community impact generated across all components of NextStepEU. The presentation covered key achievements such as the delivery of the four annual courses, the organisation of workshops, webinars, the KoFEAA series, educational field visits, and the publication of the NextStepEU Newsletter, as well as the scientific contributions disseminated through conferences and research initiatives.

The closing conference also outlined the future directions and initiatives that will continue beyond the funding period, including ongoing KoFEAA sessions, additional workshops, research collaborations, and partnerships with institutional and community stakeholders. Several follow-up activities are already being implemented, confirming the long-term sustainability and relevance of the Module.

The event served both as a moment of reflection on the results achieved and as a launch point for future endeavours that will build upon the foundation created by NextStepEU.
